About ASGFM

The ASGFM is a trade association which represents the best stillwater trout fisheries in England and Wales. Our members range from the largest fisheries to some of the smallest - but all share a professional commitment to the highest standards of stillwater trout angling.

All our fisheries are different, but we aim to provide an enjoyable day out and the chance to catch quality fish of a pound or so to double-figure specimens. Only established fisheries which meet our high standards of facilities are eligible for ASGFM membership and we operate a Code of Practice to which our members must adhere. Everything is geared to giving anglers a fair deal and an enjoyable day's fishing.

The ASGFM also has a formal complaints procedure for dealing with any serious breaches of our Code of Practice. With a number of stillwater trout fisheries proliferating throughout England and Wales, we hope you will choose to fish at ASGFM waters where you can be guaranteed a good day out on a well managed water.
