Pitsford Reservoir

Pitsford Water is an attractive reservoir with superb fly-fishing conveniently located between Northampton and Leicester. It has a reputation for top quality grown-on fish, double figure browns and surface feeding-fish in its relatively shallow water.

The modern Lodge has a well-stocked tackle shop and a large meeting room for corporate and club events and disabled access throughout. The fleet of 26 boats includes a Mark11 Wheelyboat.

Day permits £18 with 6 fish limit plus catch & release, Senior Citizens £15 mid-week. Under 18s fish free with adult permit holders and share the limit, or a 50% discount. Motor-boats full day £21. Special 3-day boat package £149 for two anglers, transferable to Rutland and Grafham Water too.

Beginners Courses only £50

Beginners courses throughout the year from only £50 per day including a book, lunch and free membership of Mid-Northants Trout Fishers for the year. Personal tuition is also available.
