Shimano Felindre

The stream-fed lake is situated in a valley in the mountains of Felindre. It is 3.65 acres at present, which we extend every year.

Largest recorded fish: Golden Trout: 21lbs 2oz (British Record), Rainbow Trout: 29lbs 11oz 13drms (Welsh Record), Rainbow Brace: (49lbs 10oz) and Four fish bag: 83lbs 12oz (World Record).

Facilities: Toilets, cafe, rest area, full range of flies and leader, car parking area and fish cleaning facilities.

Directions: J47 off the M4 and follow signposts to Felindre. After the third roundabout Felindre village is three miles through country lanes. Once in Felindre village take a right up a small steep hill then immediately right again. The fishery lane is the next left after the Shepherd's Arms.
