Stithians Lake

This majestic water of 274 acres is one of England’s most westerly trout fisheries, and is regularly stocked with rainbow trout averaging 1¼ lbs, with some up to 5lbs, as well as containing a natural head of brown trout. Day and season tickets available Boats are bookable in advance from the new Angling and Watersports Centre (tel 01209 860301). Tuition is available, but should be booked in advance. Other facilities on site include a campsite, and watersports facilities.
