At Lechlade fishery, the largest rainbow at 10lbs 12oz went to Gerald Stratford from Oxford. One brownie came out to Mr Appleby. It weighed eight and a quarter pounds.

August weather at Avington was really mixed up, several days of blustery showers or strong winds followed by just the odd sunny day. Towards the end of the month the weather finally settled down and we had some pleasant warm sunny days.

Northumbrian Water are once again holding their Big Fish competition in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at Derwent Reservoir, Edmundbyers, Consett on Sunday 13th June, 2010.

The Icicle Challenge/Morris Jeffs Trophy at Lenches Lakes was rearranged in February. This competition normally runs between Christmas and New Year but was postponed because of the winter conditions.
